Getting Started
For more information, click here to download your copy of "How Do I Get Started in Advertising?" This document explains the basics of marketing and how you might think of approaching your advertising. For those dealers not having the time to become experts in marketing (due to all the other hats you wear) you can still get the best of what we offer with a simple phone call. Just dial 1-888-251-2778 and say, "I'm thinking about doing some advertising, how do I start"?Deciding on the Product and/or Service You Want to Market Replacement Leads are always a hot item. A higher number of replacement leads should result in higher sales volume and higher profits.Tune-ups (PTU) advertising results are normally three to four, or even five times higher than when advertising for replacement leads. The benefits from generating this type of work are that it's possible to generate large numbers of long term and repeat customers by signing them up for maintenance or service agreements. Service or maintenance agreement holders are perfect prospects for all the other products and services you offer. Over time, they may purchase indoor air quality products or systems, zoning, and most likely, their replacement heating and cooling equipment from you. The long-term benefits are excellent from PTU advertising.Indoor Air Quality (duct cleaning and other indoor air quality issues) is becoming more and more of a concern to homeowners. Many companies have generated substantial amounts of sales revenue as a result of successful advertising for these products and services. Maintenance and service agreement holders are an excellent source of sales leads for these products. No one knows your business or your needs better than you, but here are some things to think about. Many of you have a wide range of products or services available to your customers that could be marketed effectively. Give us a call to discuss your marketing requirements.
Choosing Your Marketing Piece
Based upon the service or product you are advertising, you can select your piece from our marketing library or create your own. If you would like to view our copyrighted material, we require a signed Copyright Restrictions & Disclosure Agreement. You can download this form in a PDF format (see button to right) from our website. Complete this form and fax it to 904-646-1720 with your specific text request (i.e., a/c tune-ups, heating replacements, plumbing service, etc.). You will receive sample text options for you to personalize with your own individual offer. As you prepare your marketing piece... we caution you that it is highly unlikely that you will be able to use our templates without customizing. After all, the overriding principle in advertising is that IT MUST BE TRUE!You must adapt the material so that it tells YOUR story, not the author's. The Federal Government and all States have consumer protection laws, rules and regulations that govern advertising. It is universally against the law to make "false claims", but the definition of what is considered false differs from state-to-state and even from agency-to-agency. The fact of the matter is that you can be liable not only for what you expressly state in an ad, but for what you reasonably "imply". Implied claims are those claims which, while not directly stated, might be read into the advertisement. You must use them at your own risk. "When in doubt... leave it out!"
